先后主持国家863项目、国家水体污染治理重大专项、国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金、教育部博士点基金、教育部留学人员基金、广东省自然科学基金、广东省“节能减排”重大科技专项、广东省高层次人才基金、广东省战略性新兴产业核心技术攻关项目、广东省科技计划重点项目、广州市科技攻关项目等国家及省部级科研项目三十多项,并主持完成近百项大中型废水处理工程项目的设计、工程安装及调试工作,具有丰富的科研与实际工程经验。

  • 授课课程:环境与生态(本科生课程,教育部首批精品视频公开课),清洁生产概论(硕士生课程),水污染控制进展讲座(博士生课程)。

  • 指导学生情况:已经指导毕业研究生86名(其中博士生11名)。现指导博士生12名,硕士生23名。2012年被评为华南理工大学“我最喜爱的导师”,2011年和2013年两次被评为华南理工大学“优秀博士论文指导教师”。
